Five care services transferred to The Barnet Group

The transfer of three care homes and two day centres to The Barnet Group has been completed.

Joining The Barnet Group will be care homes at Apthorp Care Centre in Barnet, Dell Field Court in Finchley and Meadowside Care Home in North Finchley. As well as these care homes will be two day centres; at Meadowside and Apthorp.

The five services have been transferred from the Fremantle Trust. Around 300 staff have also been TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)) transferred, and have become Barnet Group employees.

The services will operate under the Your Choice Barnet, and will be branded Your Choice Care (YCC). YCC will be responsible for the three care homes and two day services, as well as the new extra care provision at Ansell Court in Mill Hill.
